Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a £30m division of this ‘household name’ company based near Wantage. This newly created role has been designed for a finalist / newly qualified Accountant to assist the Head of Finance with accounts production whilst managing the finance team. Supervising 2 studiers, your duties will include: full preparation of the monthly management accounts for 2 sites; provision of commercial management information and analysis to aid business decisions; providing business partnering support to the wider business, project leads and team managers; budget setting; process reviews; development of the product cost model; financial control of various ad-hoc projects; day to day management and mentoring of the team (1x AAT studier and 1x CIMA studier). Suitable applicants must be close to concluding or recently qualified within CIMA, ACCA or ACA and keen to gain more commercial exposure and man management experience. You will be technically strong, a confident communicator, personable, hard working and flexible in your approach.
