Job description
Our client is a relatively newly established and growing local business which is looking to recruit a Company Accountant to take full responsibility for all aspects of Financial and management accounts. The role is based on 30 hour working week although there may be the opportunity for this to grow with the business in the future. You will be expected to have the ability to be part of the Senior Management team, as well as implement management reports and maintain the financial systems. It is a hands-on role covering all aspects of financial and management accounts, budgets, forecasting, cash management and statutory reporting. You will also manage and develop a small accounts team; therefore people management experience is important. What are we looking for? Ideally you will be fully qualified or at mid to later stages studying CIMA/ACCA/ACA and have a sound track record as an Accountant within an SME business. The right candidate will have a flexible approach and be able to think outside the box. You will be IT literate with good experience of Excel. What is on offer?
