Job description
Our client, based on the outskirts of Preston, is looking to recruit an experienced Company Accountant to join its established Finance team and be responsible for producing the monthly and yearly accounts for the Board of Directors. The role involves supporting the production of management accounts including the full responsibility for production of the company payroll and VAT returns. Ideally you will already be experienced within an accounts role in which you have gained a solid understanding of journal entries, reconciliations and accruals/prepayments preferably with tight reporting deadlines. Ideally you will also be able to demonstrate strong IT skills and be a good team player. This is a good role in which you can join a well established privately owned business and be supported by a solid management team.
