Job description
Recently acquired division of an international PLC, due to organic expansion our client is looking to recruit a qualified Company Accountant to take responsibility for a close knit finance department. You will be a proactive Controller, ensuring that group deadlines are met and the Finance department continually develops and reviews internal controls as the business grows. You will take responsibility for all financial control and management reporting in line with group policy. A confident and articulate communicator is essential as the role involves liaison with other departments, stock/sales etc to ensure that margins are continually reviewed to ensure optimum business performance in a competitive market place. You will be able to demonstrate a stable career history and exposure to both statutory and management reporting in a commercial environment. Exposure to group reporting and Sage would be an advantage.
