Job description
One of the world’s largest Accountancy firms is looking to recruit a Forensic Data Analyst at a graduate level. This position sits within the Forensic Technology team and it will lead you into all areas of computer forensics and eventually you will specialise in one once you have identified your specialism. The area of computer forensics is varied and the career path is definitely not linear unlike some other professions. At various points in your career you may be asked to give evidence in court which can relate to high profile insurance and financial fraud cases, you may be asked to work hand in hand with police in order to build evidence in criminal activity and you will most certainly be asked to help trace laundered money. The other side to the job is fraud prevention and advising your clients on ways and means to protect against it. To be considered for a career in this field, you must meet the following criteria: have at least 280 UCAS points (B, B, C equivalent); hold a BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics or Mathematics and Statistics; have knowledge of SQL and Statistical analysis knowledge. Upon joining you will be rewarded with a market leading salary and benefits package, a state of the art working environment and full support and funding in any professional qualifications you wish to undertake that are related to your role. To be considered, please get in touch right away.
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
This position is being advertised by an employment business in the case of temporary positions and an employment agency in the case of permanent positions.
