Job description
A leading multi-sector company is looking to recruit a qualified Accountant to join their team and work on their hospitality contracts. Reporting to the FD, the key responsibilities include but are not limited to: ensuring all project costs and related recharges are accounted for on a monthly basis; provide forecast v actuals variance analysis of contract costs and recharged costs for individual contracts to the Sales Director; work with contract leads to ensure that each project has a robust full life forecast for costs and related recharges, and is tracking to related business case; provide financial information on a timely basis to the Project Team Leaders focusing on the quarterly forecast and yearly review process; ensure that any risks/uncertainties are appropriately highlighted to various stakeholders; attendance at contract meetings. As the successful candidate, you will be a fully qualified Accountant with the requisite technical accounting and analytical skills particularly from a project background and have experience in a commercial business. You will have the ability to use and reconcile systems. You will have a proven track record of ability to drive improvement across process, systems and people and be successful at working independently and will also work well and add value to the team.
