Job description
This is an exciting opportunity working for one of Bristol's premier employers. There is an immediate start for the successful candidate and the role will be for a minimum period of 6 months with potential of extension. As interim Controller, your key responsibilities will include: robust financial planning; support the challenge process for all budgets to ensure optimisation of targets; ensure provision of financial information, advice and support; produce timely and reliable monthly management information including consolidation; ensure deployment of robust mechanisms to monitor and control financial and operational risks; manage the monthly financial review process to ensure full visibility of financial performance; assess business proposals ensuring any cases are robust and forecasts financial impacts are well considered. To be considered, you will have a well-documented track record in project analysis, forecasting, budgeting and project accounting within a manufacturing or engineering environment. You will be comfortable liaising and influencing professional non-finance decision makers alongside Senior Management. CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified with strong system skills to include Excel and SAP are desirable. Security clearance is desirable.
