Job description
One of Oxfordshire’s leading businesses is looking for a Finance Controls and Compliance Accountant to support the implementation of a new financial control framework. The role will be mainly tactical and operational, designed to provide professional expertise at all levels, working with colleagues and senior staff to ensure the smooth running of the new system. You will manage the core process team, while also being part of the Senior and Support teams. Responsibilities will include initial implementation, monthly reviews, reports and analysis of the process system. You will also be responsible for adequate training and support for staff throughout the company as well as ad hoc controls work as and when needed. The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified with post qualified experience, in a systems and process reporting role, and supervisory experience. Strong IT skills and understanding of ERP systems is essential, knowledge of implementation is desirable. You should have proven leadership skills, an excellent communicative and organisational manner, and be proactive and efficient under pressure.
