Job description

A diversified FTSE 100 Miner has an exciting opportunity to join its Corporate Accounting team. A business with a global portfolio and fantastic growth potential, they require a talented Accountant to assist in continuing the development of their Corporate function. Do you have aspirations to join the fascinating world of natural resources. As part of the head office function the Corporate Accountant will have responsibilities including: project cost accounting, cash flow monitoring; investment and treasury activities; group reporting under IFRS; preparation of the quarterly forecasts, annual budget, cash flow forecasts and other submissions for the Group; process improvement of Accounting policies and procedures; ad hoc project analysis (acquisition accounting/improvement plans). Key to success at this business is being a confident communicator who can work effectively at a global Plc. It is expected that you will be a qualified Accountant with post qualified experience and involvement in a wide variety of accounting duties. Ideally you will with CA qualified, but those who have qualified in industry will be equally as sought after. Experience with Hyperion is helpful but not critical.
