Job description
This successful north-west regional firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors has continued to grow throughout the past 12 months with significant increase in fees derived from corporate and strategic finance work in addition to a steady increase in client wins within audit and assurance. The firm is now looking to appoint an experienced Corporate Finance Professional to spearhead the lead advisory transaction work across its Lancashire practice. You will have a unique opportunity to generate corporate finance transaction work from existing large portfolios of entrepreneurial SMEs and corporate clients and to build both the firms and your own profile in the wider market. You will lead and complete MBO/MBI, M&A and company sale transactions utilising staff within the practice prior to building a Corporate Finance department around you in due course. You will ultimately lead the Corporate Finance offering across the firms Lancashire offices, developing strong links with banks, funders and professional advisors in the region and earning your place within the Partnership in the longer term. Ideally you will be ACA/ACCA qualified and have gained previous experience of handling lead advisory corporate finance transactions including MBOs/MBIs, M&A work and Disposal transactions. You will also possess the drive and energy to build a successful department and act as the lead on transactions. In return you will be rewarded with an excellent remuneration package which will include significant annual bonus related earnings and have the opportunity to progress towards Partner.
