Job description
A high profile commercially focused Regulatory Body is seeking a number of highly talented corporate Finance Managers to deliver on exciting regulatory investigations into high profile areas of the public sector. The purpose of the role is to support senior members of the Regulatory Operations team in the delivery of assessments of public sector organisations. The role will have high level of stake holder engagement and a high level of autonomy and involved with some very high profile assessments and investigations. The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications: an accountancy or relevant business qualification; experience of financial due diligence (desirable); experience in a client-facing role in at least one of the following areas: transaction services; mergers and acquisitions; corporate recovery; audit; regulation; performance management; experience of conducting interviews/discussing issues with, and presenting findings to, Senior Management teams or Boards; strong report writing skills with the ability to present information (both financial and non-financial) and recommendations in a clear and logical way; an understanding of corporate governance; strong presentation skills; independent thinker, with demonstrated good judgement, problem-solving and analytical skills; self-starter, with an ability to coordinate and prioritise; proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; flexible and team orientated.
