Job description
Are you CTA/ACA qualified? Would you like to build and expand a portfolio of Corporate and Business Tax Clients for a leading Firm of Chartered Accountants? Barclay Meade's Public Practice team is currently searching a CTA/ACA qualified Corporate Tax Assistant Manager for a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Reading. With personal responsibility for a portfolio of Corporate & Business Tax clients, you will act as their first point of contact and manage the delivery of both tax and other specialist assignments to scope and budget. You will lead the planning and delivery of designated assignments, set work standards, provide technical guidance to teams, continually update and liaise with the Account Manager, prepare tax computations and resolve tax issues, support the development of team skills and knowledge along with taking ownership of specialist assignments as designated. A desirable candidate will be CTA/ACA qualified (or equivalent) with post qualified experience in a tax environment. Excellent communication skills are key to this role, as the need to develop relationships both internally with colleagues and externally with your portfolio of clients are essential.
