Job description

Selection Group Accountancy and Finance is representing an innovative and entrepreneurial international firm based in Central Harrogate in their search for a Corporate Tax Senior/Assistant Manager. The role will comprise of a mixture of compliance and advisory work, you will also assist with the tax compliance process including the preparation of tax provisions and deferred tax calculations for accounts purposes, and the management of two Semi Seniors. The role will involve a significant level of client contact, necessitating confidence, commerciality and strong communication skills. The role will be predominantly office based, although travel to client sites will be required. There may also be the opportunity to get involved with business development. Given the wide variety of duties, candidates who wish to be considered for this position will ideally be: a qualified Tax Advisor; CTA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent and PQE; strong corporate tax compliance experience with some experience of advisory work. The role comes with a competitive benefits package along with longer term career development in line with company policy. The successful candidate will have strong organisational/time management skills and some project management experience would be preferred. You will be able to develop and manage relationships with clients and have an interest in becoming involved in business development.
