Job description
Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting to the position of interim Cost Accountant. An exciting opportunity is available for a professional interim within a leading Manufacturing company in the Midlands. The organisation is looking for a skilled interim with strong manufacturing experience to provide additional resource within the Finance function. The 3-6 month role will be supported by a professional interim who is a skilled cost Accountant with the skill to merge cost accounting with financial planning and analysis skills within a manufacturing context. The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant and will be responsible for preparing regular management accounts, measuring performance against budget and KPIs, validating product costing for new products and product alterations, conducting variance reports on stocks and ensuring that sufficient stock controls and procedures are adhered to. You must have strong computer skills and have excellent Excel skills. The successful interim will be a team player, comfortable working in both an office and factory environment and communicating financial information to non-financial colleagues throughout the organisation. Salary & benefits: this interim will be paid £250-£300 on a limited company basis.
