Job description

Our client is a leading global Manufacture providing high-end Technology advanced products within a very niche market. Due to an influx of new business, a Cost Accountant is now required to assist with increased work loads and company commitments. The role will suit a CCAB or CIMA qualified Accountant, with the ability to calculate product and job costings whilst developing product costing information. You will review, develop and update bills of materials and route sheets with Production Managers to ensure that they are accurate. Progress any changes required through our quality system. Other key responsibilities include: calculate current labour costing for review by management; calculate product/market margins and profitability; develop a system to produce product costing for the development of future products; design and develop applicable quality work instructions and procedures; assist in the quality control processes and recommend any corrective actions required. In addition, you are required to perform other duties as assigned by your Manager, from time to time, within your capabilities. It may also be necessary to work from other offices owned by the company as and when required.
