Job description
A well established Manufacturing company based near Honiton is looking for a strong Cost Accountant to join their successful team. This company is well known and have strong contacts throughout the country. They have developed a strong senior management team and pride themselves on providing a great working environment, benefits package and successful practices. This manufacturing company have outlets and factories around the Exeter area and will need someone to spend time in near Honiton and Ashburton. The Cost Accountant for this company will produce costing models and variance reports from 2 separate companies and factories; they will be required to analyse waste and product costs with commercial awareness and understanding; other responsibilities will include stock validation and process review to improve efficiencies and costs; this Accountant position will work with multiple stock variances and understand large company costing models. Candidates must be able to be hands-on with all levels of factory staff and liaise with non-finance operational staff. It is essential that applicants have manufacturing experience and can demonstrate their cost accounting experience. Candidates must have advanced Excel skills and systems knowledge. Work will be split between two sites. Candidates must be able to work 3 days near Honiton and 2 days near Ashbutron. Salary & benefits: £30,000-35,000 plus benefits, good working environment and free parking. This is a fast moving position, so apply immediately to be considered.
