Job description

Our client is a highly successful international Manufacturing business which is seeking a Senior Credit Controller/Analyst, responsible for the overall Credit Control function of the group. Directly responsible for leading a team of UK Credit Analysts (currently 2 people) as well as overall responsibility for credit control matters in overseas subsidiaries and credit relationship management with strategic group customers. Responsibilities: responsible for overall coordination of the group's credit insurance policy; to oversee any litigation relating to overdue debts, include own use of UK county court proceedings; to bring to management attention areas of concern relating to outstanding debts or matters of credit risk; to ensure that ledgers are maintained and that reports are regularly generated and actioned for overdue debts; to ensure that cash is properly allocated and that ledgers are kept up-to-date; maintaining a rolling programme to deal with and eliminate old low value debt balances; drive through process improvements to ensure that the company enhances its ‘responsive reputation’ with its customers; to ensure that a uniform approach on credit management information is maintained within the ERP system; attend KPI meetings and senior management/board meetings to discuss debtor day performance and ‘high risk’ customers. Candidates must possess experience of credit insurance. This is a temporary to permanent role.
