Job description
Key responsibilities: implement effective and professional credit control Practices to ensure that cash is collected in a timely manner; liaise with major blue chip and other clients and internal colleagues to resolve payment issues; cash posting; manage the applications process including preparation of applications summaries; contribute to cash flow forecasting by providing cash reports; debt reporting, including Jeopardy and Aged Debtor reporting; manage retentions including instigating billing and collection; track WIP; raise ad hoc sales invoices when required; manage the legal process when necessary including; 7 day’ letters and liaising with solicitors; manage the new contract set up process, including credit checking and monitoring; attend cash meetings as required. Knowledge and experience: proven track record of effective credit control in a large company environment; excellent communications skills, including the ability to deal with colleagues at all levels across the business, and the ability to produce effective written reports and other documents; strong IT skills, including MS Office and advanced MS Excel skills; knowledge or experience of SAP would be advantageous; ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines ASC connections is a leading recruitment business specialising within areas of both technical and business services.
