Job description
A well known fashion label based in Essex is looking for a multi-lingual Credit Controller to join their busy Finance team. They are looking for someone to help with collections in France, Italy and Spain and knowledge of at least two of these languages as well as English is a prerequisite. Reporting to the Credit Manager tasks will include: building and maintaining excellent relationships with international as well as national customers; taking full responsibility for managing cash collections; reconciling accounts and resolving a wide range of queries on accounts; working and reporting to deadlines; supplying cash forecasts and meeting cash targets/forecasts; reduction of aged debt/DSO. The ideal candidate will have worked as a Credit Controller in the UK collecting debt throughout Europe. A good knowledge of all MS Office applications in particular Excel is a must as is previous experience using Oracle or another such accounting package.
