Job description
My client is looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join its experienced Credit Control department. The successful candidate will be part of a team of 4 and report directly to the Credit Manager. The position would suit an individual who enjoys working in a busy, vibrant credit control environment and is used to working to tight deadlines. Role and responsibilities include: establish and manage credit limits; customer credit checks; cash collection to set targets; managing own portfolio of accounts including several key clients; establishment of key relationships with the Sales team to ensure queries are dealt with effectively and payment terms adhered to; raising sales invoices; cash posting to the Sales Ledger; managing debt through to legal process/instructing and liaising with Solicitors. Qualifications/Experience: experience in similar role; excellent communication and negotiation skills; MS Excel and Word to a good standard; considerable experience in similar role; professional and assertive.
