Job description
An opportunity has come about in one of Public Healthcares leading commissioning organisations. Our client is looking to recruit a Data Analyst with previous SQL and HES database experience. Responsibilities will include: ability to provide analytical expertise in the collection and analysis of data to support each of the workstreams within different projects collecting and analysing complex datasets using SQL, Access, Visual Basic, SPSS, MapInfo, Excel and other operating tools to advise the team on the most efficient ways in which to model, analyse and report the data; an understanding of the operational and clinical delivery of services within the system to ensure accurate data is collected; ability to understand and analyse existing pathways of care to propose and develop improved models of care. Interested applicants will have previously experience working in the NHS. You will also have worked in information and be used to dealing with huge amounts of dataset such as HES and SQL.
