Job description

Due to internal growth an experienced hands-on Departmental Accountant is sought for this diverse, complex and stimulating business that has gained recognition and reputation for its world-class centre of excellence. Working in prestigious offices you will support a Departmental Manager providing them with a wide variety of financial information. You will produce regular management accounts, VAT and other financial returns. Analyse trading activities, advising budget holders regularly about trust funds and income drawing up the annual budget submission. Processing of year end in a timely manner ensuring all entries have been submitted; quarterly forecasting producing written reports to various departments. This varied position requires an individual who has experience at a management level with a large complex organisation with proven management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and reporting skills. With advanced Excel skills you will be confident in analysing and presenting reports. Have excellent communication skills to work effectively with all levels of staff. Managing a small team you will be responsible for meeting a number of deadlines therefore accuracy and the ability to prioritise workload is essential.
