As an essential member of the Income & Contracts team, you will support the Senior Finance Manager to ensure the provision of a timely and accurate contract management service, ensuring all timescales and legal requirements are adhered to. This will include the production of monthly income reporting, managing SLA's and supporting the ongoing implementation of payments by results. An effective communicator with the natural flair to influence and negotiate, you will have the ability to command credibility and gain respect from operational Managers, finance peers and colleagues. Confident in motivating a team, you will inspire others to provide practical advice and support, in relation to complex contract income issues, that exceeds expectations and supports future decision-making. As well as a high degree of numeracy, you will have a logical analytical approach and the proven ability to learn quickly. Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written will be essential. Technically strong, you will ideally offer recent and in-depth contracting and financial management experience, and have an appreciation of the current NHS regimes.
