Job description
A FTSE 100 listed business is currently recruiting for a Deputy Group Treasurer to join their head office Finance team in London. Reporting in to the Group Treasurer and looking after a team of 4 the role will involve the following: ensuring the Group has long-term funding in place; managing the interest rate risk profile; maintaining relationships with providers of debt capital; ensuring that internal financing framework is in place and understood; ensuring the Group always has sufficient short term liquidity to service the debt and operation; managing the Groups Foreign Exchange exposures in local and central books; balancing UK Group Foreign Exchange exposures to minimise tax risk. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong academic background that is complimented by a professional qualification and relevant work experience in a similar sized organisation. All applicants must be highly analytical and have strong negotiation and strategic skills.
