Job description

Our client is a well-established organisation within Oxford and has an outstanding reputation for developing and supporting its staff. They now have an opportunity for a Deputy Payments Manager initially on a 1 year fixed term contract with the possibility of going permanent. This role will involve managing aspects of the central payment team, to include the ability to set priorities and targets and monitor progress. You will deputise when required and assist the payments team with its development strategies for improving the service provision. Experience/skills: you must have core experience of high volume transactions and people management; experience of working within a payments team is essential with experience of supervising staff; excellent IT skills and able to demonstrate an ability to prioritise work and that of others in order to meet deadlines; you will also need to be able to communicate at all levels in a confident and polite manner.
