Job description

My client is a global super brand that is instantly recognisable across all 5 continents. Due to strategic succession planning, we are seeking a high achieving Director of Internal Audit for the division, Reporting to the global Audit Director and be responsible for a dynamic Audit team. You will be responsible for the whole phase, from plan to presentation to the Board. Areas of particular importance are: identification and management of operational and strategic risk to the company; financial and operational information is accurate, reliable and timely; all employee actions are compliant with the strict ethical code of the company; strategic and operational plans are developed, implemented and successfully achieved; brand values are protected. The successful applicant will have strong business acumen and cross functional knowledge in order to gain credibility with the high expectations of the business. You will have a strong background in internal controls and a internal and external audit experience. You will be a qualified Accountant, Preferably Big 4 trained. Due to the global nature of this role there is likely to be approximately 30% travel. The company culture is results driven and vibrant.
