Job description

In a world of established brands, my client is a vibrant new charity that through hard work and passion has quickly expanded to become a national organisation. Ambitious and determined to continue growing it is currently looking to recruit a like minded individual to take on the role of Director of Resources. Key duties and responsibilities: lead and manage the charity’s resources activities, including finance, business planning, governance, IT and facilities; finalise the organisation’s annual and 3-year budget, supporting executive members to develop and manage budgets for their areas; leading on the successful delivery of the statutory accounts including the project management of the change to the year end timetable; reviewing and putting in place the structure, systems and processes to support the new vision and strategy. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Accountant with substantial experience in a senior management post. Having worked either in the charity sector or commercial world, you will have the gravitas and confidence to deal at the very top level of a business.
