Job description
As a market leading Manufacturing business based in the Doncaster area, our client is looking for a Divisional Management Accountant to join the team. The role will see you taking responsibility for a number of tasks including: managing relationships with Operation Managers and liaising heavily with the Managing Director; management of month end accounting procedures including in-depth analysis to tight deadlines; additional management reporting including KPIs; annual budget preparation and meeting the Divisional Managing Director monthly to review performance; planning and forecasting; in-depth complex costing and project work to speed up this costing system; intrastat and VAT Returns. You will need to be a qualified or latter stages part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) Accountant with a good track record. It would be an advantage if you can demonstrate experience in a manufacturing or contracting organisation and you will need to be a self-starter with effective interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be able to challenge current thinking and be focused on continuous improvement.
