Job description

Multinational group with innovative products & a high market share in its field is looking for a hands-on & commercial Finance Director for their rapidly expanding Turkish operation. The objective of this role is to ensure that the individual is able to fast track through the group & mentor a growing team. Based in Istanbul you will report directly to the Managing Director for the division & be fully responsible for all Finance, Treasury & IT functions. Reporting back to the Group Finance Function in the UK you will manage a team to ensure the divisions reporting is in accordance with IFRS; producing a weekly flash, a monthly management pack, annual budgets & strategic plans. In addition you will have significant exposure to process improvement & systems implementations for the business. The key responsibility will be to increase efficiencies & profitability for the division. To be considered for this role you will be fluent in both Turkish & English & a fully qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or overseas equivalent) with a history of progressing in an organisation. A strong technical knowledge is essential as is a demonstrable commercial understanding. This role will have a high degree of exposure & Operational responsibilities therefore the ability to communicate at all levels is essential. The individual must be willing to travel as & when required. This role would suit a Turkish national who has been working overseas looking to return for a time.
