Job description
This very large global Property and Construction business is looking for a highly credible and Commercial Divisional Finance Director to drive their continued success. Reporting to the business unit head and working closely with the Commercial Director, the role itself requires extensive relationship building across the division, as well as a leadership role within the wider UK Finance team. Duties will include: managing all aspects of the business planning process; management of portfolio with regard to risk and reward; new bids and projects; testing and challenging of commercial assumptions made by the projects; stringent financial control; articulating financial matters to clients and subcontractors. You will be a qualified Accountant with significant experience in the project management, engineering or construction sectors; candidates without that experience will not be considered. You will also be interpersonally robust, a natural leader with good people management and communication skills, and the level of drive and assertiveness required to succeed in a dynamic, high calibre environment.
