Job description
A market leading Financial Services business based in Central Manchester is currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to lead a team across a number of its key UK & overseas operations. Reporting in to the global head office this role is responsible for providing support across finance wide initiative including month end close, balance sheet management, process improvement, Sarbanes-Oxley, Audit, potential M&A support and compliance. This is an exceptional role that will suit a candidate looking for an opportunity to identify and develop areas of improvement and take ownership of a successful division of a corporate entity. The ideal candidate will be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or overseas equivalent) or equivalent with significant experience in a control focus environment. The ability to lead teams and manage change projects is a must as is the potential to add long-term strategic value.
