Job description
A Divisional Financial Controller is required to strengthen the existing UK Finance team of one of Nottingham’s leading employers. In the role of Financial Controller you will bolster the Finance function, gaining invaluable experience within a leading PLC. Candidates will have a strong academic background, 2:1 degree minimum, and admirable pass records in your professional exams (ACA/ACMA). As Financial Controller, reporting to a Divisional FD, you will provide key decision support to Managing Directors and lead a team of part-qualified/qualified Accountants in delivering crucial financial & commercial support to the business. You will lead the team in planning & forecasting and will support senior management in making improvements to strategic planning with a view to maximising revenues. Candidates will have a strong academic history, 2:1 degree minimum, ideally with 1st time passes in their professional exams (ACA/ACMA). Candidates will also be required to demonstrate proven interpersonal & communication skills along with the ability to challenge & influence internal stakeholders.
