Job description
A Financial Controller is required for a Food/FMCG business based in North Nottingham/Lincolnshire. You will be required to provide challenging & insightful analysis to the Divisional MD with a brief to develop cross functional working relationships & cooperation. Managing a small but professional team you will have full fiscal responsibility & commercial involvement. Additional projects will include the development of reporting systems & processes to track sales & margins with the objective of highlighting opportunities for profit improvement & the development of new commercial initiatives. We require a qualified individual & experienced Financial Controller with a background in the Food/FMCG sector with a particular emphasis on managing commercial relationships with retail multiples. A track record of margin enhancement & a full understanding of product mix & segmentation analysis would be especially of interest. A strong & credible communicator you must be at home in the commercial environment with the ability to influence & challenge senior stakeholders in a constructive manner. Our client is a division of a £600 million turnover parent operating predominantly in the Food & FMCG sectors. A market leading supplier to the retail market they operate across the UK from a number of sites with a reputation for commercial innovation & major brand development initiatives. Quality is a key in their market & as such they have a fully integrated supply chain.
