Job description
A highly successful UK Group c£1bn turnover is recruiting a Finance Lead for a £60m subsidiary business based in Preston. Business Partnering the Commercial Director you manage and develop the delivery of timely financial and management information for this major construction and plant hire division. The role: management of the P&L and balance sheet for the division and subsidiaries including joint venture companies; monthly management and financial accounts for the division; submit consolidated divisional and JV accounts; group financial reporting; submit consolidated statutory accounts; budgeting and forecasting; financial analysis and performance reporting including control of overheads and recharges; business partnering; review meetings and providing insightful commentary; driving improvements in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes and tools; cash forecasting, analysis and reporting; projects include process mapping and new system implementation; management and development of 3 Accountants. Successful candidates will be qualified ideally with first time passes and strong academics, have excellent technical accounting and commercial acumen, this role excellent communication skills and flexibility to travel to the head office based in central Hertfordshire will also be required.
