Job description
Our client is a leading Manufacturer with operations in the UK and overseas. They are now seeking to appoint a talented Manufacturing Financial Controller. Supporting the Group FD and site MDs you will be a qualified Accountant with previous Financial Controller/Finance Director level experience gained within a volume-manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for operational performance review and management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and year end statutory accounting. You will have a proactive mindset, able to review and improve process and able to develop the quality of MI within the businesses. This role will oversee 2 subsidiaries and is a critical role within the group. Candidates must be strong communicators, able to challenge operations and familiar with shop floor environments. You must have experience of control and reporting within standard costing environments. Experience of SAP or Mfg Pro will be beneficial but not essential. You will have gravitas and energy and possess the drive and determination to deliver high quality support to the GFD and site MD.
