Job description
This is a highly commercial role working for a high profile Service company. The business is looking to provide stronger and more meaningful information to the business to aid business decisions. The role will suit a qualified Accountant looking to make a tangible difference to the company performance and drive a business partnering approach. The role: maintain and develop monthly reporting pack; commercial and financial support to non-Finance Managers; preparation of the annual budgets and rolling forecasts; variance analysis and discussions with relevant Managers to ensure they are accounted for; profitability and margin analysis on various projects; monitor various projects to ensure that they are delivered on time and within budget; cost analysis and development of models. The candidate: qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA; previous experience of project accounting or commercial analysis; strong management reporting background; outstanding communication skills with ability to influence at all levels; advanced Excel skills with ability to manipulate large volumes of data. This is a commercially focused role that takes you to the heart of the business and will allow the successful candidate to make a difference.
