Job description
Reporting to the EFSSC Manager the role includes: production of monthly management accounts and ensuring the integrity of the Netherlands sets of books; supporting the Senior Accountant. Key responsibilities: preparation and analysis of monthly accounts for Dutch companies to trial balance; Dutch balance sheet reconciliations; maintenance of Dutch fixed asset register; preparation of Dutch monthly VAT & Intrastat Returns; coordinate Statutory Audit for Netherlands; provision of supplementary schedules for Netherlands as required for quarterly reporting; ensuring Dutch finance complies with Sarbanes-Oxley; responsible for the Payroll Submission and Administration; ad hoc operational & finance requests from FD and EFFSC Manager. Skill requirements - essential: accounting experience to trial balance; Dutch language skills; Dutch business knowledge; hands-on ERP experience; strong Excel skills; good communication skills; good team player; good problem solving skills; good organisation and planning ability; ability to work to tight deadlines. Advantageous: experience of Oracle; experience of working for a US parent company in a multinational environment.
