Job description
The EMEA Financial Controller will be responsible for the following: coordinating the preparation and reporting of entity financial statements/results to both internal and external parties; Business Partner of and reporting to the General Manager and integral member of the global Finance team; be an active member of the EMEA Leadership team and a key decision maker, leading and driving financial improvements in the organisation; act as a Business Partner to the General Manager, beyond strictly financial considerations, with key input on strategic decisions; drive the assessment of strategic options for the business (eg manufacturing strategy); coordinate the financial analysis modelling of various quotation packages, determining the optimal response from the network of operations available to support new business; oversee and support preparation of monthly financial statements and quarterly/periodic reports. Requirements: qualified Chartered, Cost & Management or Certified Accountant; minimum requirement is an undergraduate degree with relevant experience; prior direct leadership responsibility in which the candidate significantly raised the operating performance of their group; direct experience in the preparation of financial statements; reporting results in an international environment; knowledge of UK and international accountancy standards; understanding of direct/indirect tax including Corporation Tax, PAYE and VAT matters; must have the ability to work and drive results across functions and with all management levels; project management and communication skills; PC skills. Our client: global organisation. Salary and benefits: circa £50,000 plus benefits including FX car and bonus.
