Job description
A world leading business with an impressive recent record of sustained growth is seeking to appoint a European Accounting Controller to be based in Switzerland. Reporting to the Local FD, you will maintain the Accounting and General Ledger functions of various European entities in accordance with US GAAP, participate in monthly variance analysis, prepare timely statutory accounts and assist in ad hoc project work. The European Accounting Controller will manage a small team in what is a highly visible role within the business. Applicants should have experience of relevant international accounting, managerial or supervisory exposure, knowledge of US GAAP and be a flexible, dedicated and team minded person. Knowledge of SAP and shared service centre experience is advantageous and ideally you should be fluent in another European language (French, German or Italian). Excellent package with full relocation.
