Job description
Our client is a leading global Entertainment business that requires a new Financial Planning and Analysis Director for Europe, based at European HQ in North West London. There is a fast-moving, constantly changing business with multiple product lines and complex contracts with both customers and suppliers. The planning process is a critical function within the business, directly influencing both supply chain and operational activity and underpinning key strategic decision-making. Reporting to the European FD and working closely with the European Management team at operational level, you will lead a team of 5 qualified level staff to deliver robust demand and profitability forecasts by product and territory, analyse key business unit performance, advise on sales quota setting and establish action plans to drive efficiency and productivity. You will also assist local management by providing perspective and advice based on sound financial analysis. A first rate finance professional with highly developed analytical skills, it is essential that you can demonstrate a track record of leading the FP&A function for a complex business. Your academic background will be impressive and your interpersonal and influencing skills must be highly developed. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to develop IT solutions - Oracle and Hyperion Essbase would be a distinct advantage. Travel to both, global HQ in the USA and across Europe will be required.
