InSinkErator UK, a business unit of Emerson Electric Co, is the world’s largest Manufacturer of Food Waste Disposers. They are a business unit of Emerson (NYSE: EMR), who are based in St Louis and who are a global leader in bringing technology and engineering together to provide innovative solutions to customers through its network power, process management, industrial automation, climate technology and appliance and tools businesses. Group turnover for this Fortune 100 business is in excess of $24bn.
The InSinkErator UK business unit has experienced 50% growth in the last two years due to its state of the art and market leading products. Due to the present incumbent retiring they are now looking to recruit a new No 1 in finance. The company has a fast growing turnover, but has an SME type environment and culturally would suit someone who is very hands-on and with a keen eye for detail. You will be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and have experience of JD Edwards and some multi-currency knowledge, exposure to Sarbanes-Oxley and US GAAP would also be an advantage, but is not essential.
Other duties will include and not be limited to the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, coordination with the US parent company of all financials, assisting in the preparation of the monthly operating report, preparing timely and accurate financial reviews and overseeing audits.
