Job description
A world renowned Asset Manager, with a heavy presence in the private equity & investment advisory space, is looking to bring on board a high calibre European Financial Controller to ensure robust corporate reporting within all pan-European entities. You’ll lead a team of up to ten individuals to deliver key corporate financial deliverables under UK GAAP & IFRS (and other local GAAPs), as well as developing core requirements in offices across the continent. This role will require constant contact with senior management, up to board level, & you’ll be tasked to assist in the furthering the already impressive growth figures. It’s a hands-on role, requiring improvement of systems, processes & controls as well as all of the above & will require a driven individual. Due to the high profile nature of the position we are looking for highest calibre candidate. Past experience has shown that those best suited to this position will have an impeccable academic record, with a professional accountancy qualification (eg ACA or equivalent) & extensive exposure to leading large successful teams within private equity/Financial Services space. Exposure to UK GAAP & IFRS is critical, as is hands-on regulatory reporting exposure, & knowledge of LLP structuring would be a massive advantage in your application.
