Job description
Due to significant expansion, our client an award winning Manufacturing business is currently looking to appoint a new Management Accountant. Reporting to the FC and with a dotted line to the Production Director, this role will include the following core activities: production of monthly management accounts; overhead and monthly reporting; the provision of reliable forecasting and budgeting models for analytical and planning purposes; preparation of quarterly and annual forecasts for commercial business units; project & contract price analysis as well as detailed cost analysis of current and potential new product lines. The successful candidate will be an analytically strong, commercially focused part-qualified or Finalist level Accountant with excellent management accounting, forecasting and budgeting experience gained from working within a fast moving business environment. Advantageous to this role are strong MS Excel spreadsheet and systems skills including pivot tables, vlookups and what if statements.
