Job description
Robert Half Finance and Accounting is currently recruiting for a Cost/Factory Accountant to join a leading business based in North Leicestershire. The firm is commutable distance from all areas of Leicester/Leicestershire, Derby and Nottingham. Due to extensive business growth my client has a requirement to recruit a Cost/Factory Accountant into its business. This is a new role to the firm and it will be a key member of the firms Production Management team. The role will involve extensive amounts of product costing, reviewing the costing of new products & existing products and the reviewing of production processes to maximise profitability. You will work closely with the Production/Factory Manager, head of buying and the FC to maximise profitability at all stages for the business. The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience of costing within a manufacturing environment and will be able to demonstrate that have made a difference to your previous employers by your achievements. You do not need to be a qualified Accountant to apply for this role - you do need extensive costing experience from working with in a manufacturing environment.
