Job description
My client, a multi site retail organisation, is seeking to recruit a Retail Analyst. A new role has developed to assist the Finance Manager in improving the commercial evaluation of the retail business. The role will work with the Finance Planning and Analysis Team in supporting the maximisation of sales and EBIT opportunities. A key requirement is the analysis of retail sales including forecasting, budgeting, reporting and commercial analysis.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Retail Analyst will be responsible for the following: analysis of key central costs and core business key performance indicators; analysis of global and local marketing campaigns; analysis of sales margin performance. You will also assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of quarterly forecasts and budgeting.
Fashion multi-site retail analysis experience is a pre-requisite for this role. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent Excel skills.
