Job description

As one of the UK's largest Retailers with over 300 stores nationwide our client continues to maintain its position as the major force in this competitive sector. Their Commercial and Trading Finance teams are well recognised for their calibre and progression opportunity and as a direct result of one such internal promotion they are now recruiting a Commercial Retail Analyst to join their team. The role will provide a detailed understanding of the financial dynamics of product categories and ensure that the budgets and forecasts prepared and owned by the Trading teams are robust and in line with business requirements. They will act as the interface between the Trading teams and the wider Group Finance community whilst supporting senior Directors by proactively producing value adding analysis. This is a high profile role which will require the ability to influence, make an impact and add value and as a result will be an ideal platform for future opportunities within the business. The successful candidate must be qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA and be a graduate with an excellent academic history. They will have progressive accounting/commercial experience gained in a large company environment.
