Job description

A Global Bank requires a part qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA) ideally with experience gained within Financial Services to be responsible for analysis, delivery and reporting of Forecasts and Budgets. This role provides an opportunity to improve planning reports and systems and gain an understanding of the plans and future developments across the Group. Key accountabilities include: review/Consolidate and Challenge of Budget / Forecast submissions; preparation of Budget / Forecast packs for senior management and a various number of key stakeholders both divisional and group; support the transformation of Group reporting on budgets / forecasts; provide support to actuals reporting team regarding variances to forecast position at month end. You will maintain close working relationships with Finance Business Services, Group Finance and the Divisions in order to provide guidance and assist with delivery of improvements to the Planning processes. Experience of planning and actual reporting systems (Oracle / SAP / Hyperion / Oracle Financial Analyser) is desirable. This role provides substantial exposure across the finance department and group and will give the successful candidate opportunities for progression.
