Job description
An exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Analyst experienced in delivering process improvements on monthly reporting within a complex blue chip environment to add real value and improve the way finance perform in a leading organisation in the Energy industry. The Finance Business Analyst will have an excellent understanding of monthly accounting and reporting processes, proven process modelling and process improvement skills and previous history of delivering month end process improvements. Under the guidance of a Project Manager the Finance Business Analyst will be responsible for: documenting the current monthly timetable for each team and for the business unit finance as a whole; develop proposals for a standard format integrated timetable; analyse the adjustments made to gross margin identifying trends and tracing the reason for the adjustments to their root cause; analyse the contents of standard management information reports, identifying inconsistencies and producing recommendations for change; support key workshops in determining the best approach for the monthly processes.
