Job description
Reporting to the FC, you will act as a finance partner to the Operations division. It's a role that will see you assuming a number of responsibilities, everything from producing timely and accurate management information every month, to maintaining a detailed forecast model that accurately reflects the expected performance of the unit. You will reconcile and have control of all prime costs and will need a solid understanding of SAP to assist in process control across the Operating Group. You will also assist in writing reports for Senior Management and produce variance analysis, balance sheet management and reconciliation and act as an interface between the Group function and the Management Accounts division. Ideally, you will be CIMA/ACCA qualified Accountant or qualified with a demonstrable experience in a similar commercial or operational finance role. As well as the ability to explain financial data to senior management you'll have a strong operational focus and good interpersonal skills. Along with a flair for problem solving, you'll also have excellent Excel abilities and experience of working with SAP. This is an ideal opportunity for the right candidate to develop a carer in a more commercial finance role and make a role your own.
