Job description
Due to expansion, a Revolutionary Technology business requires a Finance Business Partner. As a member of the FP&A team, the role is to understand the drivers of the business by working as a Finance Business Partner for the Product Development team. Responsibilities include: designing and providing fit for purpose and effective performance management information for stakeholders; producing financial projections to support planning, budgeting and forecasting; identify and understand how value is created, destroyed and driven in the functions; interpret past and projected business performance by period, function and cost type; where necessary conducting deep dive analysis for further understanding; understand monthly variances to provide commentary for senior executive packs; also submitting regular financial commentary to enable the identification for performance improvement and cost reduction; investment appraisal and identification of risks and opportunities (financial modelling); challenge plans to commit costs by identifying areas for cost efficiency and managing the delivery of benefits. The successful candidate will be have immaculate academics, a 2:1 or above from a reputable university and be either ACA/CIMA qualified with first time passes.
